  • Peeled and chopped cassava1 kg
  • Vegetable broth tablet2 unit(s)
  • Butter2 tablespoon
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Crushed garlic cloves3 unit(s)
  • Oil for frying to taste
  1. In the pressure cooker, place the chopped manioc, crushed garlic and vegetable broth and cover with water.
  2. Cook for about 15 minutes, after it starts to sizzle, remove the pressure and open the pan. Add the butter and salt and cook a little more, after turning off the heat, wait until it cools completely.
  3. In a pan, heat the oil and let it get very hot.
  4. Fry in small quantities and let it brown, when it is golden, transfer it to a container with paper towel to dry the excess oil.
  5. If you prefer, sprinkle more salt over the already fried mandioquinha.
