Cut the onion into small pieces;
Beat the garlic together with the salt using a pounder;
Bring the water to a boil;
In a pan add the oil and put the onion first, until golden, and then add the rice;
Add the crushed garlic and salt;
Fry stirring for 1 minute;
Pour the boiling water over the rice;
Place on low heat without lid;
Wait for it to dry, cover the pan and keep it that way for 10 minutes.
