  • Boiled Cassava1 kg
  • Whey cream1 can(s)
  • Margarine2 tablespoon
  • Dry desalted and cooked meat1/2 kg
  • medium chopped onion1 unit(s)
  • Crushed garlic cloves4 unit(s)
  • Tomatoes, peeled and chopped2 unit(s)
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Pepper1 to taste
  • grated cheese1 to taste
  1. Squeeze the manioc while still hot and put it in a pan with the margarine and salt.
  2. When they are well mixed, add the cream, mix and set aside.
  3. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil
  4. Add the shredded beef and let it cool down a bit.
  5. Add the tomatoes and cook until they are wilted and adjust the salt if necessary.
  6. In a refractory greased with olive oil, place a layer of the manioc puree, the jerky and finish with the rest of the puree.
  7. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and bake in the oven to brown.
  8. Serve hot or warm
