  • From corn flour300 mg
  • Salt1/2 to taste
  • Water1 cup
  • Margarine2 tablespoon
  1. Mix corn flour and salt. Add water gradually, always stirring with a spoon to distribute the liquid well, and let it hydrate for 10 minutes. Fill the bottom of a couscous pan with water and place the steamer basket. Place the already hydrated corn flour in the basket, taking care not to compact it. Cook over high heat. When a slight steam comes out from the side of the lid, lower the heat and let it cook for another 10 minutes until the couscous is very soft. Unmold the couscous, transfer to a bowl and break into pieces with a fork. In a bowl, mix the butter with a little of the boiling water from the couscous pan. Stir with a spoon until at least half of the butter has melted. Drizzle the couscous with the water and butter mixture, mix with a fork and serve.😊😊
