  • Black-eyed peas, macassar or green beans.1/2 kg
  • Beef jerky1 kg
  • Fine cassava flour to taste
  • Tomatoes2 unit(s)
  • Onion1 unit(s)
  • Pepper1 unit(s)
  • Coriander1 to taste
  • Seasonings to taste
  1. Cook the beans with some coriander stalks and a few pieces of Charque and its fat (little secret). Cook under pressure for 5 to 6 minutes. Attention: the grain has to be al-dente. Can't focus too squishy, soft.
  2. Cut the jerked beef (dried meat) into small cubes, desalt it by letting it boil for 2 changes of water.
  3. Fry the charque with the vegetables in the oil. Season to taste.
  4. Finally, mix in the beans, the jerky, and the flour little by little so that the mixture is not dry.
  5. This dish can be accompanied by rice or served alone.
