Mincemeat in Rusty Sauce

  • Duckling, fish, chopped chuck steak1 kg
  • Cans of Peeled Tomatoes2 unit(s)
  • Chopped Onion1 unit(s)
  • Garlic Cloves2 unit(s)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Homemade beef broth300 ml
  • Butter1 tablespoon
  • Red wine (optional)150 ml
  1. Season the meat with salt, pepper and grated garlic.
  2. Toast the meat in hot oil in batches to brown it. Reserve.
  3. In the same pan as the meat, place the onion and butter and let it brown.
  4. Add the wine and broth.
  5. Add the chopped peeled tomato and two more measures from the can of water. Let it boil until reduced and become a very thick sauce.
  6. Bring the meat, add a little more water and let it cook until the desired point or until it is tender.
  7. Serve with bravo rice, farofa and fried egg.
