Reports say that the fillet a parmigiana has its origin coming from Italy and that the name parmigiana is linked to the region of Parma, where a cheese with the same name is made and that can be used in the recipe. But, in controversy, it is said that this dish is typically originally from our Brazil, invented in the state of São Paulo and was only inspired by Italian cuisine for its creation.
