  • Beef Beef400 g
  • Smoked Beef Sausage (2 sections)400 g
  • Calabrian sausage (chicken)300 g
  • Beef Ribs (Optional)400 g
  • Potatoes2 unit(s)
  • Medium carrot1 unit(s)
  • Medium onion2 unit(s)
  • Garlic (5 cloves)5 unit(s)
  • Bay leaf (3 leaves)3 unit(s)
  • Coriander to taste
  1. Soak the beans (preferably the night before cooking)
  2. Cut the beef jerky into cubes and the smoked sausage and chicken pepperoni into slices.
  3. In order not to run the risk of salting your feijoada, blanch the salted meats already cut once or twice.
  4. Then heat the beans, meats, vegetables and bay leaves in a pressure cooker for 20 minutes.
  5. In another pan, sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil. At this point, you can add dry seasonings of your choice and to taste (I like to use cumin and Bahian seasoning)
  6. After the cooking time for the beans, add this stew of spices, the chopped cilantro and leave it in the fire without the pressure until it is clear. If necessary adjust the salt.
  7. Serve with white rice and a kale salad!!
