- Wheat flour for kibbeh500 g
- Boiling water1 l
- Ground beef500 g
- Large onion, finely chopped1 unit(s)
- Finely chopped garlic4 unit(s)
- Finely chopped mint2 tablespoon
- Syrian pepper2 coffee spoon
- Salt1 to taste
- Oil for frying100 ml
- Soak the wheat in 1 liter of boiling water. Set aside for 2 hours to hydrate well and absorb all the water.
- After that time, add the rest of the ingredients: ground beef, onion, garlic, mint, pepper and salt. Mix well until you get a consistent dough with the ingredients well distributed.
- Knead and mix with your hands for 10 to 15 minutes, so it will be more striped and compact.
- Shape as you like in the original format (elongated and with skewered ends) and fry in hot oil until golden on all sides, then remove and place on a plate already lined with a paper towel, let it cool and enjoy.
