  • Wheat flour for kibbeh500 g
  • Boiling water1 l
  • Ground beef500 g
  • Large onion, finely chopped1 unit(s)
  • Finely chopped garlic4 unit(s)
  • Finely chopped mint2 tablespoon
  • Syrian pepper2 coffee spoon
  • Salt1 to taste
  • Oil for frying100 ml
  1. Soak the wheat in 1 liter of boiling water. Set aside for 2 hours to hydrate well and absorb all the water.
  2. After that time, add the rest of the ingredients: ground beef, onion, garlic, mint, pepper and salt. Mix well until you get a consistent dough with the ingredients well distributed.
  3. Knead and mix with your hands for 10 to 15 minutes, so it will be more striped and compact.
  4. Shape as you like in the original format (elongated and with skewered ends) and fry in hot oil until golden on all sides, then remove and place on a plate already lined with a paper towel, let it cool and enjoy.
