  • Chuck, brisket or cubed shoulder2 kg
  • Beef broth tablet2 unit(s)
  • Tomato paste2 tablespoon
  • Caracu Beer1 can(s)
  • Coarsely chopped onion1 unit(s)
  • Crushed garlic cloves6 unit(s)
  • Carrot slices1 unit(s)
  • Red pepper strips1 unit(s)
  • Oil5 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  1. In a pressure cooker, heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic.
  2. Add the meat and fry on all sides.
  3. Add the meat broth, salt, pepper, tomato paste and beer. Mix.
  4. Let it boil well to release the gas from the beer.
  5. Cover the pan and when it reaches pressure, reduce heat to low.
  6. Cook for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the pressure and shred all the meat. If it's still not ready, go back to pressure for another 10 minutes.
  8. Add the carrot and pepper, cooking with the pan uncovered until the sauce thickens well.
  9. If necessary, adjust the salt.
  10. Serve as a filling for a sandwich, pancake, with rice and beans or as a side dish.
