- Skinless beef liver in strips200 g
- Sliced onion1 unit(s)
- Pepper strips1 unit(s)
- Chopped tomato1 unit(s)
- Milk250 ml
- Butter1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Minced garlic cloves2 unit(s)
- Oil4 tablespoon
- Leave the liver strips to soak in milk with garlic, salt and pepper for at least 1 hour.
- In a frying pan heat the oil.
- Discard the milk and fry the liver.
- When the pan dries out, add the butter and let it melt, stirring well.
- Add the onion and pepper, frying until wilted.
- With 2 minutes left to remove from the heat, add the tomato.
- Adjust the salt and pepper.
- Milk takes away the strong taste of the liver, but adds nutrients to it, which is already rich in iron.
- Serve on a platter. Great snack with a beer or soft drink.
