  • Coconut milk200 ml
  • Butter with salt2 tablespoon
  • Yeast1 tablespoon
  • Shredded Coconut100 g
  1. I started by separating the egg yolks from the whites that I beat to a stiff peak.
  2. I mixed the egg yolks, sugar and butter well with a whisk (all ingredients at room temperature)
  3. I added half of the coconut milk, the starch and the yeast, lastly I gently mixed the egg whites, transferred the whole mixture to a greased mold.
  4. Baked for 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°
  5. I waited for it to cool down, unmolded it, moistened the whole cake with the rest of the coconut milk and decorated it with grated coconut.
