  • Whole Grain Rice1/2 cup
  • Water2 cup
  • Cinnamon stick1 unit(s)
  • Cinnamon powder1 teaspoon
  • Lemon1 unit(s)
  • Coconut Milk1 cup
  • Demerara Sugar1/2 cup
  1. Let the rice soak for 24 hours, changing the water once during this period.
  2. Bring the rice, sugar, cinnamon stick to low heat and cook on low heat until the water is reduced, without drying out, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the coconut milk and continue cooking, stirring, until the rice is very soft. If necessary, add more water. When the rice is soft and well soaked, turn it off.
  4. Let it cool down a bit and add juice of 1/2 lemon and lemon zest. Mix
  5. Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Is ready!!!
