- Start by beating the egg whites. When the whites are ready, do not stop beating and add the sugar by spoons, finishing with the lemon juice. Mix until you get a cream and set aside. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out small portions of meringue with the help of a tablespoon or a pastry bag. Bake the meringue in the preheated low oven (100ºC to 150ºC) for 40 minutes to 1 hour, or until golden. When the meringues are ready, turn off the oven, open the door a little and let the meringues cool inside. Once cool, peel them off the parchment paper and enjoy.
