- egg whites60 g
- Almond flour120 g
- Sugar120 g
- Wheat flour25 g
- Almond liqueur25 ml
- Warm water20 ml
- Icing sugar for sprinkling to taste
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
- Beat the yolks with the sugar until fluffy and whitish.
- Gradually add the warm water and almond liqueur.
- Add the sifted wheat flour and almond flour, little by little, mixing well
- Beat the egg whites and mix with the rest of the dough.
- Pour everything into a greased and floured round shape
- Bake in a low oven for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool, unmold and sprinkle icing sugar over a mold of the cross of Santiago so that it has the characteristic design.
