- Water350 ml
- Sugar1.1/2 cup
- Cinnamon stick2 unit(s)
- Clove3 unit(s)
- Condensed milk1 can(s)
- Milk1 can(s)
- Egg (yolk)1 unit(s)
- Vanilla essence1/2 teaspoon
- Corn starch1 tablespoon
- Soak the sago in cold water for 30 minutes to hydrate. Place the wine, water, sugar, cinnamon and cloves in a pan and bring to a boil. Add the sago. Cook over low heat until the sago is almost transparent (approximately 30 minutes), stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat, cover the pan and let it cool for a maximum of 10 minutes. Remove from pan and place in the fridge.
- To make the cream, place the condensed milk, milk, egg yolk, vanilla essence and cornstarch in a heavy-bottomed pan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Let cool and put in the fridge.
