Pumpkin candy with coconut

Peel the pumpkin and chop it or pass it on a coarse grater, it depends on how you prefer the texture of the jam, if you want to feel some pieces of the pumpkin chop like I did, if you want more pasties, use the grater.
Add the pumpkin, sugar, cloves and cinnamon in a pan and cook over medium to low heat, stirring occasionally until the pumpkin is very soft. At that moment I crushed some pieces that were even more whole.
When the candy is almost dry and already shiny, add the grated coconut and stir well. Ready, as soon as the coconut is incorporated into the candy, you can turn it off. 😋
PS: coconut is optional, if you don't like it, do it without, it's very good too. ☺️
