- Chopped Pumpkin2 kg
- Sugar1 kg
- Cloves and cinnamon stick to taste to taste
- Fresh coconut flakes to decorate200 g
- (cocada) grated fresh coconut1 kg
- Sugar500 g
- Water (tea cup)1 cup
- Condensed milk1 can(s)
- In a saucepan, place the pumpkin, sugar, cloves and cinnamon and place over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the pumpkin is tender.
- Drain, remove the syrup, cloves and cinnamon. Mash the pumpkin with a fork and set aside.
- In a pan, put the coconut, sugar, water and take it to medium fire until it unglues from the bottom of the pan.
- Add the condensed milk, mix and cook, stirring constantly, until it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. Let it cool.
- In a medium refractory, intersperse layers of pumpkin jam and coconut candy, ending with pumpkin. Decorate with fresh flaked coconut and refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve.
