Sugar1 cup
Water1 cup
Clove3 to taste

Place in a pan, add sugar, water and cloves, mix and bring to a boil.
Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. If necessary, add a little more water, in my case it was not necessary.
When the pumpkin is very soft, add the coconut, if you need a little more water and let it cook with the pan uncovered for approximately 15 minutes on low heat.
The idea of this stage is to obtain a moist candy, without excess liquids and refined. Place in a bowl, store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
