- 2 cups of plain yogurt340 g
- 1 1/2 cup caster sugar240 g
- 3/4 cup oil150 ml
- 2 tablespoons of pineapple flavored gelatin powder25 g
- 3 cups of wheat flour300 g
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder14 g
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice concentrate100 ml
- Pineapple slices to taste
- 2 cups of granulated sugar320 g
- 1 cup of water200 ml
- In a pan put 2 cups of granulated sugar and stir until melted and caramelized. Add the hot water and stir until all the sugar dissolves.
- Pour the caramel syrup into a rectangular tray, place the pineapple slices and set aside.
- In a bowl, place the eggs, 1 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, gelatin and beat until light and fluffy.
- Add the oil, pineapple juice, flour, natural yogurt and beat until you get a homogeneous mixture. Add the yeast and mix gently to incorporate.
- Pour all the dough over the pineapple syrup and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 55 minutes. Unmold warm and serve.
