  • Lemon zest to taste
  • Vanilla Essence1 teaspoon
  • Oil (tea 80ml)1/3 cup
  • Milk (tea 120 ml)1/2 cup
  • Sugar1 cup
  • Wheat flour (2 ½ cups)2 cup
  • Baking powder (for cake)1 tablespoon
  • Chocolate Chips1/2 cup
  1. Beat the egg whites and reserve.
  2. Then beat the egg yolks and oil
  3. Then add the sugar, lemon zest, vanilla essence and milk. (In the mixer)
  4. Turn off the battery and add the wheat flour little by little.
  5. Put the yeast and lastly the egg whites little by little, mixing with a wooden spoon or another one of your choice.
  6. Finally add the chocolate drops and stir.
  7. I used the paper form for the pascal colomba and took it to the oven at 180° for 35 minutes.
  8. For the topping, I melted the chocolate bar in the microwave and placed it on top of the colomba and decorated it with chocolate drops, chestnuts and nuts.
