In a deep pan, place the sugar over low heat, stirring constantly until it is lightly browned (approximately 5 minutes).
Pour in the milk, mix and let it boil for an hour and a half.
Remove from heat, wait for it to get warm and place in a bowl.
Once it's completely cool, keep the candy in a container with a lid.
Tip: It can be served with cheese or serve as a filling for cakes and pies.
