- Brown Sugar1 cup
- Egg Yolks4 unit(s)
- Can of condensed milk1 unit(s)
- Wheat or almond flour2 cup
- Baking Powder1 tablespoon
- Candied Cherry Fruits1 cup
- Raisins1 cup
- Egg whites4 unit(s)
- Icing sugar2 cup
- Icing sugar1/2 cup
- Powdered milk (nest)2 tablespoon
- Lemon Juice2 teaspoon
- Candied berries with icing to decorate the cake to taste
- Nuts to decorate the cake to taste
- Start by preparing the dough: In the mixer beat the butter at room temperature until it forms a whitish cream
- Add the brown sugar and the egg yolks one by one, beating constantly until smooth.
- Add the condensed milk little by little without stopping beating.
- With the mixer off, add the sifted flour with the baking powder, mix well.
- Dip the candied fruit and raisins in the flour so they don't sink into the cake.
- Add the floured berries to the dough and mix well, reserve this dough in a separate bowl
- Whisk the egg whites until stiff
- Add the egg whites to the dough you have already reserved and mix well until smooth.
- Pre-heat the oven at 180 °
- Grease a mold with a hole in the middle with a little butter and flour.
- Place the dough in the tin and bake for about an hour or until a skewer comes out clean.
- Wait for it to cool down a bit and unmold carefully (if it is removable, unmold it while still hot)
- Make the icing: In a bowl, mix the icing sugar, condensed milk and lemon juice.
- Pour this syrup over the cake and decorate with candied fruits with cherries and nuts to taste.
