- Put the milk in a pan and bring to a boil. Turn off as soon as it boils. If a film has formed, discard it. Let it cool to the point that you can put your finger in the milk and it stays very hot, but without burning your finger. If the finger can stay there for 10 seconds, it's done.
- At this point, place the yogurt cup in the milk and mix. Close the pan and wrap it with some towels to keep it warm. Leave tightly closed for about 8 to 10 hours at room temperature or inside the oven turned off. If it's too hot, it can be ready sooner, that is, when it reaches consistency, it's ready.
- People! If the weather is cold, the tip is to turn on the oven before putting the pan on and let it heat up and turn it off. This creates a warm environment for the yogurt to “work” and form. If it gets too cold, remove the yogurt and reheat the oven after a few hours and place the pan with it off. But the temperature should be just lukewarm, ok?
- If you like it more consistent, just remove the whey with a ladle and discard. Store in the fridge in a closed container. Yield: 10 servings of approximately 95 calories * If you use skimmed, it will be thinner.
