1 cup milk of your choice (plant or animal origin) | 1 cup
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder | 1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon ground cloves | 1 teaspoon
1 dessert spoon of bicarbonate | 1 dessert spoon
4 tablespoons of warm honey | 4 tablespoon
3 eggs | 3 unit(s)
Milk (or semisweet) chocolate to finish | 200 g
Recipe
Gather all the ingredients;
In a bowl, place all the dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.
Add the milk, honey, lightly beaten eggs, and mix well, until a dough forms.
Transfer to a greased, floured shape and spread well;
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 to 30 minutes. Do the toothpick test, if it comes out dry, it's because the dough is ready;
Cut into squares, unmold and place on a baking sheet (or flat surface) lined with parchment paper;
Melt the chocolate in the microwave every 30 seconds (or in a bain-marie) and bathe the honey bread squares. You can also decorate with white chocolate or dulce de leche;
Let it cool, the chocolate harden and now it's time to serve!
You can make it in a cupcake pan, but the oven time is shorter, between 8 to 15 minutes.
It is also delicious to add to this dough: cocoa, nutmeg and powdered ginger.
Enjoy your food!
