- Wheat flour75 g
- Refined or powdered sugar25 g
- Egg1/2 unit(s)
- Cold butter38 g
- Almond flour (optional)10 g
- Pinch of salt1 to taste
- Fruits of your choice (apple, banana, pear) to taste
- Honey or molasses to taste
- Cinnamon (optional) to taste
- Sablée dough: mix the wheat flour, almond flour, sugar, a pinch of salt and incorporate the cold butter and mix until it becomes a sand / crumbs. Add the egg. Compact the dough and let it rest for 20min in the fridge before rolling out the dough.
- Cut the fruit into slices and add the molasses and cinnamon. Roll out the dough on a greased parchment paper, and add the fruit. Make an egg wash before baking using the leftover egg. Beat the egg with a little milk or water and brush the galette.
- Bake for 30 minutes until golden.
- If you want, add chestnuts over the galette.
