- Wheat flour250 g
- Butter200 g
- Refined sugar1500 g
- Salt25 g
- Green figs400 g

- Vanilla to taste
- Mix the wheat flour, the cold butter, the salt and 300g of sugar until the dough is homogeneous. Adjust the consistency with wheat flour. Wrap the dough in cling film and place in the fridge for 50 minutes.
- Wash the figs well, make small cuts on their heads and place in a high pan with 600g of sugar, the spices and water to form the syrup. Cook over medium heat until the figs are soft and the syrup is formed.
- Assemble the dough in pie with removable base and place to bake in a preheated oven at 180° until golden.
- Bring 800ml of milk and 500g of sugar to a low heat, stirring constantly until it boils.
- Separately, mix the 4 egg yolks with the cornstarch. Reserve
- When the milk is boiling, add it gradually to the yolks, stirring constantly so as not to cut the yolks.
- When the mixture is finished, return to medium heat, stirring constantly so as not to pack, until it reaches a creamy consistency. Gradually add the fresh cream and vanilla and stir until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Wait for all the preparations to cool, assemble the pie and take it to the fridge until it cools down. Enjoy your food!
