  • Sugar250 g
  • Water2 l
  • Coloring - optional to taste
  1. Boil the figs for approximately 15 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Place in the freezer for approximately 3 hours.
  3. Remove the figs from the fridge and place them in room temperature water and remove the skin.
  4. In a pan put the water, sugar, fig and coloring.
  5. Let it cook until the syrup turns into a molasses and the fig is well softened.
  6. Remove from heat and it's ready.
