  • Egg3 unit(s)
  • Milk1 cup
  • Margarine or butter2 tablespoon
  • grated coconut100 g
  • Sugar1 cup
  • Corn starch1 cup
  • Baking powder1 tablespoon
  1. Beat the eggs, butter and sugar in a blender or mixer until it forms a whitish mass.
  2. Add the milk, grated coconut, flour and cornstarch and whisk for another 3 minutes.
  3. Add the yeast and mix gently.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured shape (I used a shape with a hole in the middle, but it can be any shape).
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the dough comes out clean.
  6. Wait for it to cool and unmold.
  7. Tip: it's a great option to be served in the café for breakfast. It also goes well as a dessert, for this, moisten the cake with a mixture of milk, sugar and grated coconut.
