- Pumpkin Squash1 kg
- Sugar400 g
- Cloves10 to taste
- Cinnamon1 to taste
- Lemon zest1 to taste
- Peel and cut the pumpkin into cubes
- In a pan put the pumpkin, sugar, cloves and cinnamon.
- Leave on low heat and mix well.
- No need to add water, let it cook on low heat, stirring occasionally and leave the pan uncovered.
- When the pumpkin starts to fall apart, stir non-stop.
- When it is well established, turn off the heat.
- Let it cool if you prefer serve it chilled with lemon zest
