  • cornmeal2 cup
  • Wheat flour2 cup
  • Sugar1/2 cup
  • Yeast powder1 coffee spoon
  • Eggs2 unit(s)
  • Margarine or butter at (room temperature)2 coffee spoon
  • Milk to the point60 ml
  1. In a bowl mix all dry ingredients: flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder
  2. Add the eggs and margarine and start kneading.
  3. Gradually add the milk. Always little by little until the dough comes together well
  4. Make the shape of measured balls with a very full tablespoon and place in the floured shape only with cornmeal leaving space between them
  5. Then take the form (with the dough) to the fridge for 4 minutes. This process is optional, but it helps the dough/margarine firm up more so the bread doesn't spread so much
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for approximately 40 minutes, depending on your oven.
