Descasque e higienize as espigas. Debulhe o milho cortando os grãos no sentido do cumprimento. 

Peel and clean the cobs. Thresh the corn by cutting the grains lengthwise.

No liquidificador bata muito bem os grãos com o leite. Passe pela peneira descartando todo o bagaço. 
Leve o líquido a uma panela, acrescente o açúcar e leve ao fogo médio mexendo sem parar, de preferência com um fuê. 
Assim que começar a engrossar mexa vigorosamente por mais uns 3 minutos.
Desligue e transfira para a travessa de servir, ou potinhos individuais. Se gostar polvilhe canela para finalizar. 

In the blender beat the grains with the milk very well. Pass through the sieve discarding all the bagasse.
Take the liquid to a pan, add the sugar and lead to the medium fire stirring constantly, preferably with a fuê.
Once it starts to thicken, stir vigorously for another 3 minutes.
Turn off and transfer to serving platter, or individual pots. If you like sprinkle cinnamon to finish.
