Ingredients

  • Can of corn | 1 unit(s)
  • Eggs | 3 unit(s)
  • Sugar | 170 g
  • Oil | 85 g
  • Cornmeal | 170 g
  • Salt | 1 teaspoon
  • Chemical Yeast | 1 tablespoon
  • Cottage cheese (cup) | 1 unit(s)
  • Guava | 100 g

Recipe

  1. Grease the cake pan with oil and cornmeal. Pre heat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Place all liquid ingredients (eggs, oil, sugar and salt) in a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Transfer the liquid to a bowl and add the cornmeal. Stir well until incorporated.
  4. Add the chemical yeast and stir gently.
  5. Chop the guava into cubes.
  6. Pour a small amount of the dough into the mold, until it covers the bottom. Pour the curd on top of the dough, spreading with a spoon.
  7. Pour the rest of the dough into the form. Add the guava cubes to the dough and push until they are covered.
  8. Bake (200 degrees) for 30 min or until golden and passing the toothpick test.
