Jordana Macedo
@receitasdoedejo- Ingredients
- Recipe
- Wheat flour280 g
- Softened Butter100 g
- Brown sugar120 g
- Crystal sugar120 g
- Vanilla Essence1.1/2 teaspoon
- Egg1 unit(s)
- Sodium Bicarbonate1.1/4 teaspoon
- Salt1 teaspoon
- M&Ms1 cup
- Butter for greasing to taste
- To prepare cookies, the first step is to preheat the oven to 180ºC. Beat the butter with the brown sugar, the egg and the white sugar until obtaining a uniform mass. Add the vanilla essence and beat again.
- Gradually add the previously sifted flour, stirring constantly. The dough should get heavier and at a certain point you will need to mix it with your hands. Finally, add the bicarbonate and salt and mix again.
- Form balls the size of brigadiers with your hands. Grease three large molds with a little butter and place the cookie balls on them, kneading a little to give the cookie shape. As they double in size, you should leave space between them.
- Once you have the cookies spread over the molds, place as many M&Ms as possible on top of each cookie or chocolate chips. Bake for about 12 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven (they will still be soft) and let them cool until they are crispy.
- Tip: If you want softer cookies, you can bake for less time (about 8-10 minutes).
