- Unsalted butter OR chilled margarine (approx. 5 heaping tablespoons).100 g
- Brown sugar (approx. 5 tablespoons).50 g
- Crystal sugar (approx. 5 tablespoons).50 g
- Egg.1 unit(s)
- Wheat flour (approx. 1 3/4 cup).200 g
- Baking soda.1 teaspoon
- Salt.1/2 teaspoon
- Vanilla essence.1 teaspoon
- Chopped chocolate OR chocolate chips.100 g
- Nutella (can substitute for melted chocolate).300 g
- Beat the chilled butter and sugars in an electric mixer for 5 minutes. Add the egg, vanilla essence and salt, beat for 2 minutes. Add the flour and bicarbonate of soda, beat until combined.
- Add the chocolate and mix using a spatula.
- Leave the dough in the fridge for 10 minutes before assembling in the form.
- In a 16cm diameter shape, with a removable bottom, place the dough and spread it on the bottom and sides of the shape. Leave dough for the cookie lid.
- Place the nutella in the middle and spread, cover the nutella with pieces of dough. Do not completely fill the mold as it grows a little.
- Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes, or until lightly golden. Let it cool a little, unmold and you can serve!
