Em uma panela grande adicione os cocos ralados, o leite condensado e as as xícaras de açúcar mexa tudo para misturar bem.

In a large pan add the grated coconuts, condensed milk and the cups of sugar, stir everything to mix well.

Leve a panela ao fogo para cozinhar até adquirir a consistência de um brigadeiro quando soltando do fundo da panela. Enquanto a panela está no fogo não pode parar de mexer se não vai queimar, use uma colher de pau para mexer a cocada.

Quando estiver pronta passe para uma forma retangular deixe esfriar e depois é só cortar as porções.
