wheat flour2 cup
eggs2 unit(s)
Refined sugar1 cup
chemical yeast1/2 teaspoon
warm milk1 cup
margarine or softened butter200 g
candied fruit2 cup
vanilla essence or panettone (optional)1 teaspoon

Preparation: In the mixer, beat the margarine with the sugar until you get a smooth cream.
Add the eggs and, if you like, the vanilla essence as well and beat again.
Gradually add the sifted flour alternating with the water. When you get a lump-free dough, add the yeast and candied fruit and mix well.
Bake in oven at 170 degrees for +/- 35 minutes. Do the toothpick test.
