- sour cream200 g
- Vanilla essence1 teaspoon
- Chopped semisweet chocolate250 g
- In a pan, add the granulated sugar and milk and heat over medium heat until heated through.
- In a bowl, mix the yolks with the starch and set aside.
- Gently add half of the warmed milk to the yolk mixture, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Return the mixture to the pan with the remaining milk and cook for 3 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove from heat and add the cream and mix well.
- Separate the cream into two equal parts, and in one of the halves add the vanilla and in the other half the chopped chocolate, mixing well until it dissolves and forms a homogeneous cream.
- Cover the two creams with plastic film in contact with the cream and keep it in the fridge until it cools down.
- In a bowl, mix the milk with the vanilla and set aside.
- Moisten the cookies in milk, and in a medium square refractory, make layers interspersing the cookies, chocolate cream, moistened cookie and vanilla cream.
- Repeat the process with the rest of the ingredients, finishing with the chocolate cream.
- Decorate with chocolate shavings and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
