- Recipe
- Chanty Mix Amelia (1 box)200 ml
- Nest Milk3 tablespoon
- Confectioners' sugar (icing sugar)3 tablespoon
- I tested some mixtures for whipped cream and the one that worked the best was Amélia's. Start by placing the box in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes before making the recipe. It should be very chilled, but not frozen.
- If the day is very hot, put the paddle and the mixer bowl in the freezer, too (remembering to dry well with a paper towel when you take it out, so that the humidity does not interfere with the recipe).
- Combine all the ingredients in the mixer and use a spoon to give a basic mix.
- Beat at maximum speed for 4 to 8 minutes. If coloring, put 1 or 2 drops of gel food coloring in the desired color at this time.
- In the end, the chantininho should have firm peaks as in the photo. If you need to get the color right, add more coloring in this step, little by little. Don't exaggerate the amount so you don't go wrong.
- Can be used to decorate as soon as you finish beating. It's a great frosting for cakes and cupcakes, super easy to make and super delicious. In addition, it is more stable and holds the structure better than traditional whipped cream.
