  • 1/2 cup oil100 ml
  • 1/2 cup of milk100 ml
  • 1 carrot200 g
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar200 g
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour250 g
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder14 g
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder45 g
  • Dark chocolate200 g
  • 1/2 cup sour cream100 g
  1. In the blender, place the chopped carrot, eggs, sugar, oil, milk and beat very well for about 2 minutes.
  2. Pour the liquid into a bowl, add the wheat flour and mix until you get a smooth and homogeneous mass.
  3. Add the baking powder and mix gently.
  4. Divide the dough into two equal parts and in one place the cocoa powder and mix until smooth.
  5. Grease a shape with a hole in the middle with butter or margarine, put half the carrot mass, half the chocolate mass and make some circular movements with a toothpick. Repeat the process with the rest of the dough.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
  7. Mix the semisweet chocolate with the cream and microwave for 1 minute. Mix well until you get a ganache.
  8. Unmold the cake, pour the syrup over it and serve.
