Carrot Cake with Crispy Chocolate Sauce

Modo de Preparo do Bolo:

Coloque no liquidificador, os ovos, a cenoura picada, o óleo e o açúcar.
Bata tudo por cerca de 3 minutos.
Despeje essa mistura numa tigela, adicione a farinha de trigo, o fermento em pó e o sal. 
Misture tudo com a ajuda de um batedor de arame (fouet), até fique bem homogêneo.
Despeje dessa mistura numa forma untada e enfarinhada.
Leve para assar em forno preaquecido, 180ºC, por cerca de 45 minutos.


Cake preparation method:

Place the eggs, chopped carrots, oil and sugar in a blender.
Beat everything for about 3 minutes.
Pour this mixture into a bowl, add the wheat flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix everything with the help of a wire whisk (fouet), until it is very homogeneous.
Pour this mixture into a greased and floured form.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes.


Modo de Preparo da Calda:

Numa panela, adicione o açúcar, o achocolatado em pó, a manteiga e o leite;
Leve ao fogo médio e mexa sem parar até que comece a ferver;
Depois que ferver, continue mexendo até que desgrude do fundo da panela; 
Em seguida, desligue o fogo e espalhe essa caldo por cima do bolo de cenoura;
OBS: não deixe a calda esfriar na panela, pois pode endurecer.
Aguarde esfriar e corte o bolo;
Sirva em seguida.

Syrup preparation method:

In a pan, add the sugar, the powdered chocolate, the butter and the milk;
Place over medium heat and stir constantly until it starts to boil;
After it boils, keep stirring until it detaches from the bottom of the pan;
Then turn off the heat and spread this broth over the carrot cake;
NOTE: Do not let the syrup cool in the pan, as it can harden.
Wait for it to cool and cut the cake;
Serve immediately.
