- Hominy 1/2 pack250 g
- Milk500 ml
- condensed milk395 ml
- Coconut milk200 ml
- Powdered milk3 tablespoon
- Shredded or Shredded Coconut50 g
- Clove6 unit(s)
- Cinnamon to taste
- Paçoquita - Unit(s): 3 to 4.3 unit(s)
- Soak the hominy in water for 12 hours.
- Place in pressure cooker for 25 minutes after pressure. In the slow cooker I activated the "Beans" menu.
- Discard the water and add the milk, condensed milk, coconut milk, powdered milk, grated or shredded coconut, cloves, cinnamon and stir.
- Add the paçoquitas and stir.
- Comments
- *Note 1: I used natural coconut and cut it into small pieces. To open the coconut I used the technique I saw on Paola Carosella's YouTube channel (link below).
- They teach: 1 - extract the water from the coconut through the softest hole.
- 2 - put it in the microwave for 3 to 5 minutes (you will hear a noise of something "breaking", it's the coconut shell). Don't leave it too long so it doesn't burn.
- 3 - carefully remove it from the microwave, as it will be hot, and break the shell with a hammer, holding the coconut with the help of a tea towel.
- *Note 2: I let it cook in the slow cooker in the "braise" menu (menu 5) until it boils and incorporates a little: you don't need to incorporate too much because...
- ... when it cools down it thickens.
- * Obs. 3: when it's going to warm up, put some milk. I put canjica + milk and heat it in the microwave.
