Ingredients: 100 ml 1/2 cup of water; 500 g Chopped Strawberries; 60 g 4 tablespoons of sugar; 30 ml 2 tablespoons of lemon juice; 300 g 3 cups of wheat flour; 160 g 1 cup of sugar; 3 unit(s) Eggs; 200 ml 1 cup of milk; 100 g 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine; 5 g 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar; 14 g 1 tablespoon of baking powder

1/2 cup of water100 ml
Chopped Strawberries500 g
4 tablespoons of sugar60 g
2 tablespoons of lemon juice30 ml
3 cups of wheat flour300 g
1 cup of sugar160 g
Eggs3 unit(s)
1 cup of milk200 ml
4 tablespoons of butter or margarine100 g
1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar5 g
1 tablespoon of baking powder14 g

In a pan, place the chopped strawberries, water, 4 tablespoons of sugar, lemon and bring to the fire, stirring constantly until it boils, reduces and thickens. Let cool.
In a bowl, place the eggs, sugar, butter or margarine and beat until fluffy and light.
Add the wheat flour, milk, vanilla sugar and beat again until you get a smooth and homogeneous mass.
Add the baking powder and mix gently just to incorporate.
Grease a rectangular shape with butter or margarine, place the dough and on top distribute spoonfuls of the jelly and mix with a toothpick.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar, garnish with strawberries and serve.
