  • unsalted butter375 g
  • Chocolate 70%375 g
  • Egg6 unit(s)
  • Vanilla Extract1 tablespoon
  • Sugar500 g
  • Wheat flour225 g
  • Salt1 teaspoon
  • Nuts (walnut)300 g
  1. Pre-heat the oven at 180 °
  2. Line your approximately 33 x 23 cm brownie pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a pan over a bain marie.
  4. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla.
  5. Measure the flour into another bowl and add the salt.
  6. Once the chocolate mixture is melted, let it cool a bit before whisking in the eggs and sugar mixture, then the walnuts (if using) and flour.
  7. Whisk to combine, then pour into the lined brownie pan.
  8. Bake for about 25 minutes
  9. When done, the top should be dry to a paler brown spot, but the middle still dark, dense, and sticky.
