- Vanilla essence1 teaspoon
- Syrup: Melt 1 cup of sugar in a small pan after adding a cup of hot water and let it boil until it thickens and turns into syrup.
- Pour the caramel syrup into a large refractory.
- Cut the bananas into slices or long slices and place on top of the caramel sauce.
- Cream: In a large pan, place the milk, cornstarch, condensed milk, 4 egg yolks, and a spoon of vanilla essence, stirring constantly until it thickens.
- Pour the cream over the bananas.
- Meringue: In the mixer, beat the 4 egg whites and 1 cup of sugar until doubled in size and form a meringue.
- Gently add the meringue on top of the cream.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes or until the meringue is golden.
