- Start by placing a large pan with enough water to cover all the pamonhas. Remove the corn kernels from the cob, and place in the blender along with all the ingredients. Beat well, if you prefer pass the liquid through a sieve. Place this mixture in plastic food bags and tie. Place the bags in the pan with boiling water and cook for 50 minutes or until it reaches a firm consistency, characteristic of pamonha. After they are cooked, remove the pamonhas with the help of a slotted spoon.
